Begin in Beijing with its historic palaces and the Great Wall before travelling to Zhengzhou and the renowned Shaolin Monastery. Continue to Luoyang and Xi'an, home of the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, before discovering Chengdu and its giant pandas.

From Chongqing, embark on a Yangtze River cruise through the spectacular Three Gorges before continuing to Shanghai, where historic traditions meet a modern skyline. The journey then takes you south to Guilin and the Longji Rice Terraces, renowned for some of China's most beautiful landscapes, before concluding in the dynamic metropolis of Hong Kong.

Combining China's major cultural highlights with distinctive regional experiences, this comprehensive journey offers an ideal introduction to the country's history, landscapes and contemporary life.

    * Transfers and transportation by air-conditioned coach or car.   

    * Second-class high-speed train tickets as specified in the itinerary.  

    *14 nights  in 4-5-star hotels (double room) und 3 nights in a alcony cabin aboard a 5-star Yangtze River cruise;  

    * Meals are specified in the itinerary: 17 breakfasts, 13 lunches, 4 dinners;  

    * Entrance fees for attractions included in the itinerary.

      * International flights. If required, we can assist with flight bookings from destinations worldwide. Prices are available upon request.

      * Tips for tour guides, drivers and luggage porters ; 

      * Personal expenses;  

      * Cruise service charge: CNY 200 per person, payable directly at the reception on board. Luggage handling feeds: CNY 30 per piece from bus to the cruise ship, CNY 30 per piece from the cruise ship to bus.    

      * Travel Insurance 

      * Any other expenses not specifically mentioned as included.

      * The itinerary and the order of visits are subject to change in the event of force majecure or other circumstances beyond our control.    

      * Visa requirements: Visa-free entry to China is currently available until 31 December 2026, subject to the applicable entry requirements. If the visa-free policy is not extended from 1 Janurary 2027, we can assist eligible travellers with a group visa. The fee is EUR 150 per person.

      * 30-day visa-free policy for citizens of the following countries till 31 December 2026 (subject to extension):

      * Payment: A 25% deposit is due within 7 days of booking. The remaining balance is due 28 days before departure.   

      * Minimum group size: 8 participants per departure date. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour may be cancelled. In this case, travellers will be notified no later than 21 days before departure and no cancellation fee will apply.
